With one million species threatened with extinction, wildlife is facing a crisis. More than half of earth's wild animals has been lost since 1970. Now, some of the most iconic species are in need of increased conservation efforts and protection if they are to be saved from the brink of extinction. Even large, powerful species like rhinos, lions, tigers and elephants are threatened. For example, over the last century wild tiger populations have decreased by approximately 95%. Now, less than 4,000 tigers remain in the wild. That’s why I support @LionsShareFund The Lion’s Share Fund, led by @UNDP, asks brands to donate 0.5% of their ad spend each time they feature an animal image in their advertisements. Considering 20% of all ads feature animal images – that adds up to quite a lot of funding for saving animals!
